A strong majority of us have completed the bargaining survey to collectively shape our goals for bargaining! Based on these responses, the Bargaining Committee has worked diligently to develop a set of initial bargaining goals that reflect the collective priorities and concerns of our unit. The town hall will provide an opportunity for everyone to review these goals, ask questions, and provide further input before we vote on whether to ratify these goals. The more of us who participate in our Town Hall and ratification vote, the more power we will have to make improvements at Sinai.
We will hold our online vote on whether to ratify the initial bargaining goals after the town hall, starting on 12/16 and ending on 12/23. Eligible voters will be graduate student workers currently employed by the institute who have signed an authorization card or filled out a SSW-UAW Bargaining Survey.
