Please join us for our Bargaining Goals Town Hall today at 5pm in Annenberg 22-90, to meet our elected Bargaining Committee and hear about our goals for a first contract before we vote to ratify them next week. If you cannot make it in person, you can register for the zoom here.

We recently notified Mount Sinai of our intent to bargain with them and proposed several initial dates to meet. However, Sinai is still fighting our union and has not withdrawn their Request for Review, which is intended to overturn the results of our union election.

If Sinai continues their efforts to negate our democratic choice to unionize, they will be choosing to ally themselves with the Trump administration, which will likely gain an anti-union majority to the National Labor Relations Board in the near future and would be responsible for reviewing Sinai’s Request for Review.
It is therefore all the more important that a strong majority of us vote to ratify our bargaining goals next week, so that we can send a clear message to Sinai that the vast majority of student workers support negotiating a fair union contract.
